Stephen McFadden, LCSW has been in private psychotherapy practice in New York City since 1984. Starting in 2020, began seeing clients in Sullivan County NY where he is now also located. From 1994 through 2003, he was the founder and executive director of London Terrace Psychotherapy Services, a community-based mental health center in Chelsea. A well-known and respected clinician, Stephen is experienced in various modalities, including individual and couple work, Clinical Hypnosis, sexual issues, addiction treatment, cognitive-behavioral methods, EMDR and Somatic Experiencing. For over three decades, he was an adjunct professor at Fordham University and has been a clinical consultant with Safe Horizons, the Harm Reduction Training Institute, and the NYC Gay & Lesbian Anti-Violence Task Force. He has trained and presented at many conference and professional meetings.
